Day 1: Arrival in Moshi

Day 2: Rongai Gate to Simba Camp (2,625m)
After breakfast, drive from Moshi to Rongai Gate to begin your ascent. The trail takes you through farmlands, followed by a forested area where you might spot colobus monkeys. You’ll reach Simba Camp after 3-4 hours of trekking, where you’ll camp for the night.
Day 3: Simba Camp to Second Cave Camp (3,450m)
Today’s trek continues through moorland, offering sweeping views of Kibo Peak and the surrounding landscapes. After 3-4 hours of hiking, you’ll arrive at Second Cave Camp, where you’ll camp under the stars.
